Arlo, I noticed that there are four shows on the schedule at Boston Symphony Hall. It says two in May and two in June. Was there a mistake on the schedule or are you scheduled to play four shows at the venue?

I saw that listing, too. I checked at the BSO site and we haven't missed anything yet. Arlo is scheduled for this Thursday and Friday nights!

Back from "The World Of Arlo Guthrie" show at Symphony Hall in Boston. I have been waiting for this night for ages! Turned out that my fourth row seats (which was really exciting) ended up being FIRST row!
Arlo did play some songs that he said he doesn't play a lot, like City of New Orleans, Coming into Los Angeles, In my Darkest Hour and Last Train. It was such a good show with the Boston Pops blending in so well. Those lovely and angelic voices of the Burns Sisters added to it all. I think the highlight was the Charlie Chaplin song You Are The Song. Arlo dedicated it to his wife, Jackie, of course and it was such a lovely song that I found myself wiping my eyes. Arlo, you more than did it justice. 40 years of love, with it's ups and downs, has survived all these years. At the second he finished it, I knew that his wife is so very lucky in ways that many of us will never know. Just beautiful. Just thought I'd share, as I know many of you have shared. Thanks.

I agree with you totally about "You Are the Song", anarchess, a vastly underrated and underperformed work. My son and his bride selected it as their wedding song a few years back.
