by the way, I got that lost notebook thing and really like it

Lucinda Williams, Jacob Dylan, Norah Jones, Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, Jack White and Levon Helm all stand out (hell, I guess it is all pretty good). You gotta like country music though!

i really like jett williams' version of move it on over. i still think it is funny to find out that hank williams wrote that song....a song from the 40s! but when i heard her do it i am like, okay...i can see that...

also just found out hank did that song jambalaya too! had no idea where that came from,,,i just remember my dad would play it on guitar and sing it and i always liked it!

so far i have only heard the one song you posted, but that lost notebook cd makes me think a little of (even though it is different) the mermaid ave cd that billy bragg and wilco did, putting music to some of woody's songs. i do like that cd (i only have the one, still haven't yet got the other one). i really did not know what to expect on hearing about it, but i really like it. i think it is a beautiful collaboration.
