What I'm up to on another machine is running a program I wrote that allows me to blow up the images above and enhance the images enough through interpolation to expand to infinity if we had enough memory. I'm going to see if I can use it to detect the frequencies of light coming from the incoming material versus the plasma jet.

I can't see where Occam's Razor would move if it didn't need to because the least resistance is zero, so the path of least resistance is a self-replicating entity. It is natural to create intelligence, then autonomy, just as we do with cybernetic devices. The program doesn't know it's being or been programmed.

When did that ever become a necessary point. If you are refderring to my own website, it is under construction. I don't have an end of the world theory., I envision a need to adapt our housing to meet the hazards of the 21st Century. As a race we can survive anyuthing if we put our minds to it.

Those things you envision are really cool, but can we put 7 billion+ people in pods? Wouldn't it be nice to put energy into fixing the planet so we can live on it like we're supposed to, rather than living in pods floating around an uninhabitable world?

Unfortunately Kevin, we are probably past the point of no return. I wish it were something that could be guaranteed, as in doing a fix, but it isn't, so we should prepare for the worst. That way maybe we can all show our best

This is what the primordial magnetic field and early gravitational field (the disk) would probably look like, only they are going on as we speak, but happened earlier because they are so many lightyears away. Not much changes in 7 years. Math guys might notice I've made a phantom outline of the inflection between the developing magnetic poles. The gravitational outskirts would be about 2 lightyears from that center where the plasma is coming from.

(Off topic for a second: Did you hear about this 14 year old who has achieved fusion in what apears to be a boiling flask? Far out, man!)
