Wow, Arlo and Pete were amazing tonight at Carnegie Hall. So much love there. His voice sounded better than I have ever heard it and he seems to have a new look. Very sexy and hip. It's all good. I know he lost his wife just last month which is so sad. But his performance rose above the pain and inspired so many. Thanks for making my night so wonderful, Arlo. Tina in NYC

Welcome back Kevin. I hope your trip was fantastic. How can a non-fb type like me see these pics?

Off topic/side note: I am heading to SAV next week to visit my Dad for a couple of weeks. I know you hail from parts way south of there, but if you have any tips on not-to-be-missed nearby places it would be most appreciated.

I assume your referring to Savannah, Ga? It's a really beautiful town......"old south" and all that - architecture, museums, etc. The barrier Islands off the coast are spectacular, and should be relatively empty of tourists this time of year. To the south toward the Florida border there are some primevil cypress swamps for exploring. I'll check around and let you know if anything else comes to mind. It's not really all that far from here, but having just returned from the Caribbean I doubt I could get any time free, otherwise I would certainly make an effort to connect with you. Have a safe and wonderful journey!!!

I posted a couple that, while they are on FB, are publicly accessible to "non-fb" types.

Tulaweb, thanks for the links. Arlo has lost weight. I hope greener pastures are in his near future.

Kevin, thanks for the briefing. I have not been to Savannah, but I have looked into it's history. Saved the torch by letting the Union have the run of the city. I do look forward to seeing the cypress swamps too.

Ha, maybe someday we will have that face to face.

Arlo's always been nice and thin. Didn't know he'd lost weight.
