Gotta love America!

i was reading in a book i dug out (something i got sometime in the 90s out of curiosity, but almost forgot about having it) comparing some of the sayings of jesus and buddha,,,and was thinking of how it looks like on some level at least, a striving (by humans) for something better, maybe more healthy for humans as a whole, than what might have been going on at the time (ya know, some fairly reasonable thoughts now and again) not to the point of say wanting to make a religion out of it so that it can be turned from what may have had some potentially healthy ideas to build on now and again, to something....else, or something used to manipulate and control, for the benefit of some........like politics, there are some good ideas it seems out there, but then...i don't know WHAT happens to them.
sorry if that is all over the place, i am not incredibly knowledgeable about all things politics, nor about all things religious for that matter, and i am just sort of....thinking out loud

Well I am not personally so much pro-democrat as I am anti-republican. Then of course there are the tea bag nuts? All through that speech you could see all those luni tunes republicans sitting there stone faced. It is obvious their agenda is to disrupt and not to communicate. I mean, how can anything get done if they are going to sit their and act like little babies. I am sick of the whole worthless lot and I can't believe they really have a constituency that supports such non sense?

Now that I have been reborn as a Pro-Jesus Atheist I would like to comment:

It seems to me that just based on the rhetoric (we all know how powerful rhetoric is), it seems to me:

The Republican Party as we know it would have been the greater advocate for the execution of the young teacher named Jesus! I am not saying there might not have been some coalition building and crossing of the aisle (no,no). However, it would have been the Republicans and Fox News and all the christian preachers on the radio and tv mega-church Sundays calling for his execution.

Of course, we would do it humanely with lethal injection but it would be broadcast in an instigated "viral" fashion on all media to make sure the entire world knows what happens to those who favor the redistribution of wealth and teach active social consciousness as "the way" through life.

It is not about guns it is about the second amendment. As we all know, the first amendment is meaningless without the second amendment. If we don't have unrestricted access to guns then the whole world is going to hell in a hand basket! Hell, as them people up there at that massacre with all them little bloody kids filled with bullet holes, those family members, they are just blaming guns because that Obama told them too! Hell them little kids should have been armed damn it and sent to school in Kevlar vests! It's obvious, their families are incompetent boobs thinking we live in a nonviolent society. NAIVE IDIOTS! That is what that Inhofe character told me and he is on the ball with his finger on the pulse of reality! So call your congresspeople and make sure you let them know that the American way of life is being threatened by the gun-hating liberal bastards who just don't understand that if the citizens of this nation are not allowed to be armed to the teeth in an unrestricted fashion...then the LORD'S WRATH and ANARCHY will be upon us!!!!!

LONG LIVE THE NRA FOR THEY WILL PROTECT US FROM OURSELVES!

That Reed Exhibitions must be full liberal atheist sympathizers! Their refusal to sale small arms not designed for hunting at this Hunting and Outdoor Expo resulted in delaying my access to assault rifles. They have disrupted the second amendment rights of many Americans just looking for assault rifles, multiple bullet clips and military style peripherals. There is a lot of money in that stuff...damn commie pinko's!

if you didn't read it I just want to post my favorite line from that announcement:

" controversy surrounding its decision to limit the sale or display of modern sporting rifles (also called ARs) at the event. "

And I'm looking forward to some musication. Music is medication don't ya know. Friday nite!

Kevin, I feel compelled to clairify...the following words...

And I went up there, I said, "Shrink, I want to kill. I mean, I wanna, I
wanna kill. Kill. I wanna, I wanna see, I wanna see blood and gore and
guts and veins in my teeth. Eat dead burnt bodies. I mean kill, Kill,
KILL, KILL." And I started jumpin up and down yelling, "KILL, KILL," and
he started jumpin up and down with me and we was both jumping up and down
yelling, "KILL, KILL." And the sargent came over, pinned a medal on me,
sent me down the hall, said, "You're our boy."
Didn't feel too good about it...

On a happier note a bipartisian commission has shed a tiny bit of light on the call to torture that we had until now, left unaddressed.
