I would like to thank Dubya for not interrputing good shows like KING OF QUEENS & keeping his speech on Fox. We like you but don't need you on all 3 channels & interrupting good tv shows.

It's comforting and refreshing to see that you have your priorities in order Cheryl.

Cheryl, Dybya is the one with a war in Iraq, he has billions of dollars and lots of people doing his dirty work for him.
I am the one with billions of mice and a war in my bedroom. I have only me to do my dirty work and I don't do TV.

I hope this helps

Reports from the front indicate that Nathen has taken the life of yet one more mouse, but in a fit of confusion, it was the one hooked up to his computer.Such are the perils of war.Friendly fire so to speak.

No new mice so the war is over, please stop sending me your money, I don't need it anymore and like the fatcats in Washington, if you keep sending it, I will just waste it of drugs and women.

You really know how to run a war and get it over with quick Nate. I think you and Dubya should have a talk.

So where the Hell is everyone?, Have the mice been taking prisoners?

Why do Robins toss their young out of the nest? I mean a duck doesn't do it and they learn to fly.

What if God has an ignore button?

Nathen,
Did you know that the scientific name for the American Robin in "Turdus Migratorius?" No translation available (or necessary). The parents probably throw the babies out of the nest because they spend 15 hours a day bringing the little bundles of joy food!! On the last day of nesting a baby robin can eat 14 feet of earthworms.

(There is no such thing as a rhetorical question to a librarian.)

wow that is information that I can put to use right away, 14 feet you say, but in Canada they only eat about 4 to 5 meters of worm, how can that be?

We still have not decided why tree birds push and land birds do not, or more to the question, how do land birds get their young to fly

PS thank God you were not taken by the mice, I think everyone else was.

In my extensive research--reading a few children's books (one called "Fuzzy the Duckling")--it seems that ducks learn to fly like babies learn to walk--trial and error. The timing of nesting seasons is such that by the time the babies are ready to fly it's time to migrate and the motivation is there.
Does that help?
